Public transport routes which were popular in summer to change as of September 20
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that as of September 20 winter schedules will be introduced on bus routes No. 2, 3, 19, 24, 29, 30 and 36. Bus routes No. 19, 29 and 36 will have their schedules changed on both workdays and holidays, bus routes No.2, 3, 24 – on holidays, but bus No. 30 will again run on workdays only, like before. There will be also changes in holiday schedules of tram route No. 11 and the Retro tram.
We remind that in summer several routes were changed to ensure comfortable transportation to popular Riga beaches: on holidays, bus route No. 3 was extended to Vakarbuļļi beach, bus route No. 29 – to Vecāķi, and the traffic intensity of bus No. 24 was also increased on holidays. After changing the schedule of bus route No. 3, the number of runs on bus route No. 36 was increased and bus No. 30 started running on holidays. Given passenger demand, these changes were extended to September 20.
